13-14 April 2019

Riders will be able to participate in a number of race formats.  Solo and 2 Rider Teams will see riders complete the entire race distance, where the 4 Rider Relay Teams will alternate between stages in a relay format.

Solo riders complete the entire race distance on their own (either short or long route).  Even though support/spectator vehicles will be allowed for solo riders, it is not required.  Riders will be allowed to have contact with their support vehicles at checkpoints along the route.  Solo riders will have access to race crates that will be transported to specific checkpoints along the route.

2Rider Teams complete the entire race distance together (either short or long route).  Even though support/spectator vehicles will be allowed for 2Rider Teams, it is not required.  Riders will be allowed to have contact with their support vehicles at checkpoints along the route.  2Rider Teams will have access to race crates that will be transported to specific checkpoints along the route.

4Rider Relay Teams will complete the race distance in relay format, and can only participate in the long distance event.  Support vehicles will be compulsory for relay teams, as they need to do rider changes at each checkpoint.  Riders will only be allowed to have contact with their support vehicles for additional feeding and technical support at checkpoints along the route.  Relay riders will not have access to race crates along the route.

The race comprises of six stages, and the following format will apply to 4Rider Relay Teams:

•Stage 1:  All four riders ride together, and must enter the CP together

•Stage 2:  Rider 1

•Stage 3:  Rider 2

•Stage 4:  Rider 3

•Stage 5:  Rider 4

•Stage 6:  All four riders ride together, and must cross the finish line together
